and I share everything.

This week, we shared the flu.  She got sick on Sunday, and just as she was feeling better to go back to work, I was hit hard with the same virus.

I don’t get sick very often, but when I do I don’t kid around with it.  My fever was over 102 at one point, and I’ve spent most of the last two days either sleeping or being somewhat miserable at my inability to sleep.

Fever seems to have broken tonight, so I’m hoping I’m on the upswing.  I hate missing this much work this early in the year, though.

  1. Eep. Have a virtual Guinness on me to help you heal faster. 🙂

  2. Poor sweetie. I hope you feel better soon. *snugglekiss*

  3. Hi Sweetie,

I hope you guys get to feeling better soon. I’m sick too, so I empathize strongly!

  4. You guys need to learn to be a little more selfish!

Fevers are not fun. Hope you feel better soon!

  5. hope you’re well soon.

We’re on month 2 of various virus that have been abusing our poor weakened bodies. Sick sucks -- that’s all I have to say on that subject.

Get well Soon — I need a good example.

  6. Thpbltblt and I did that last month, it was NOT fun. Also, coincidentally, it was the first time that either of us had had the flu, EVER. Hopefully, it’s the last time.

I’m the same regarding sickness: when I do get sick, once every few years, I get hit hard. This time around, I remember sleeping for about 3 days with a fever of almost 103 the whole time. Lots of coughing, too. I lost 10 pounds in one week because I didn’t feel like eating, and what little I did ingest was usually broth.

Soooo, I’ve met my illness quota for the next couple of years, I probably won’t get sick again until 2010. With luck, it’ll just be a summer cold, like I usually get 😉

  7. Much sympathy!

But I’m reasonably sure you two don’t share -everything-.

  8. Eep! I hope y’all’re feeling better.

  9. Hello! Are you two feeling better?
