Return of the Improbable Gifts Catalogue

One of my correspondents (Hi Ann!) mentioned in an e-mail recently that zie really misses my links to oddball gifts.

And it *is* the season for giving.

So I couldn’t resist sharing with you all:

Possum Fur Nipple Warmers and matching G-string

  1. Have to concede it’s a very cute photo…

  2. Have I mentioned that I really really like you? (grin)
Hee. Possum Fur indeed. However, I have this comment to make: “Man is she SKINNY!!!”

Those nipple warmers could come in handy here in frozen Vermont… hmm…

  3. Wow. Those are . . . different.

Although, being a person who is both sensitive to cold and a possessor of nipples, I have to say that I really like the idea, if not the execution. Perhaps I’ll make some of my own.

    • Actually, if you read the text, the vendor notes that the picture came out of somewhere like Playboy, and they totally missed the point of the things, which is that you’re supposed to put them inside your bra with the fur facing the skin. 🙂

      • I did notice that. And I think it’s a great idea, but I’m not too sure about the fur part . . .

Although I guess that if it’s something like rabbit or chinchilla, it wouldn’t be that bad. I’m just thinking that having wool-lined bras probably isn’t the best of ideas.

  4. The G-string isn’t far off what used to be called a merkin <g>. And just a reminder that men have nipples as well, although since we don’t usually wear a bra it could be more of a challenge keeping them on (the young lady illustrated seems to be lying down, which is cheating, although I’m told surgical glue can do wonders)…

(I have more problems with heat. It amuses me to see all the heavily muffled people on the station when I’m wearing a short-sleeved cotton shirt with no coat — the temperature isn’t that low, only around the melting point of DHMO…)
